Grace’s practice has focused on defending coverage actions, complex commercial and property disputes, professional liability claims, directors and officers liability claims, class actions, and product liability counseling and litigation. Her broader professional liability work includes the defence of accountants, property managers, insurance brokers, and other insurance professionals.

Grace also has extensive experience in providing coverage opinions involving insurance coverage issues for clients based in Canada, the United States, and England. She is familiar with many policy forms including personal lines, E&O, D&O, CGL, Property, Business Interruption, Wrap Up, Builder’s Risk, excess, and reinsurance, as well as extra-contractual claims. She also represents corporate policyholders in negotiating settlements and seeking coverage from insurance companies.

After graduating from the University of Toronto in 2001, Grace moved to Chicago, IL, and received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the John Marshall Law School, in 2004. She practiced insurance law in Chicago until her return to Canada in 2007 when she joined a boutique firm in downtown Toronto, initially as a legal researcher, then articling student, and finally as a lawyer after her receipt of the Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2008 and call to the bar in Ontario in 2009.

Grace joined Jones Litigation Counsel in September 2016.
