Leeza’s practice focuses on insurance defence litigation on a diverse range of tort claims.

Prior to joining Jones Litigation Counsel, Leeza articled in and practiced plaintiff side litigation in Toronto, focused primarily in tort law and accident benefits. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and has assisted on class action proceedings and various matters before the License Appeals Tribunal and Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal.

Leeza holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, with a minor in French, from Wilfrid Laurier University. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, completing a semester at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in Lyon, France. While in law school, Leeza was an active member of the student community, sitting as an executive on the Common Law Student’s Society and Peer Mentorship Program.

Outside of her practice, Leeza is a regular volunteer for the Ontario Bar Association’s Elementary School Mock Trial Program.
